We must act to think "unthinkable" thoughts. We must learn to investigate all the options and possibilities that encounter us in a complex and rapidly changing world. We must hit the books to accept and not to fear the voices of dissent. We must act to evaluate about "unthinkable things" because when things become unthinkable thinking stops and action becomes mindless.
Senator Fulbright who also promoted a foreign policy of what he called "peaceful coexistence" between nations was warning us against drifting into nuclear war because of a failure to acknowledge its alter and show danger.
